We are a part of the ICS Data Office and are looking for a Manager in the capacity of ICS Data Steward Delegate.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the Data Risk Management and Data Governance space with a strong focus on policy requirements and effective implementation
The role supports Data Governance objective in working with the Enterprise Data Office (EDO), peer Data Offices, respective Data Stewards and process owners to ensure effective implementation of policy requirements across the BU
Responsibilities
The ICS Regulatory Compliance Team within International Operational Excellence is looking to recruit a Data Governance Manager. This role will be responsible for managing the data risk for International Consumer Services to enable effective data risk management across various risk types in the Enterprise Taxonomy.
Responsibilities Include
- Effectively manage data risk per the framework laid out by Data Risk Management Policy (AEMP79) on various data risk categories - Data Stewardship, Data Quality, Data retention, Deletion, Data Concerns Management & Third Party Data Risk
- Partner with Second line Data Risk Management team to define roles & responsibilities laid out by AEMP 79 policy within the BU.
- Operationalizing AEMP 79 policy into actionable processes and controls to manage and mitigate data related risks effectively.
- Engaging key stakeholders including Technologies, Capabilities, Compliance, Privacy and Business to ensure alignment, understanding and support for data risk management efforts
- Partner with stakeholders from ICS teams to ensure critical data elements are brought under activation framework per Data Governance Policy (AEMP70)
- Understand holistic aspects of business requirements per critical data elements and build robust checks and controls to ensure data quality is accurate
- Partner with stakeholders from ICS teams to ensure all official records and non records are compliant with the Data Retention & Deletion Policy (AEMP 08 )
- Work with MRMG team on model and non model tool compliance per the Model Risk Management policy (AEMP 55)
- Ensuring all vendor partners and contracts are in line with Third Party Application Management Policy (AEMP 10)
- Collaborate with Enterprise Data Platforms and ICS stakeholders to lead BU migration to Lumi Platform
Partner with teams across time zones
Qualifications
- Strong ability to influence partners and stakeholders
- Ability to comprehend complex policy requirements and liaison with stakeholders across enterprise teams to break them into actionables for BU process team
- Ability to plan, organize, and track work across multiple priorities
- Strong time management skills, especially when working to fixed deadlines
- Experience breaking down complex problems into clear actionable tasks
- Ability to document decisions, assumptions, and outcomes clearly

- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to deliver accurate outputs under strict deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between various technical and non-technical audiences
