About the role

MeUndies is a Los Angeles, CA-based underwear and loungewear company best known for its softer-than-soft basics. Founded in 2011, MeUndies disrupted the $110B underwear industry with the first online underwear subscription. Since then, the brand has inspired a passionate community of undie-obsessed individuals with its bold, comfortable products. And that’s only the beginning…

Today MeUndies has sold more than thirty million pairs of underwear and is profitable with double-digit YoY growth. It continues to redefine the subscription market by evolving the transactional subscription to a membership centered on community and relationships with the brand.

The innovative direct-to-consumer brand offers multiple purchasing options, including singles, packs, matching pairs, and monthly membership.

We’re seeking an analytical, data-driven Product Manager to join our Digital Product team. The successful candidate will continually optimize the online store's merchandising, user experience, and backend using website data and a deep understanding of the MeUndies product offering and competitive set. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bringing our e-commerce brand experience to life and be equal parts merchant, storyteller, product manager, and data analyst. The Product Manager will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize merchandising strategies in alignment with company goals. This role will be vital in developing and executing our strategic vision onsite as the company evolves.

What You'll Do

  • Own the overall e-commerce merchandising function through definition, planning, execution, and performance. Develop insightful and data-driven strategies to optimize merchandising within e-commerce, membership, and campaigns to improve conversion and AOV.
  • Lead the conversion rate optimization program through A/B testing, identifying gaps in our existing customer experience and innovating with new features and tools that integrate user research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
  • Build reports with in-depth communication of test results and visualize impact. Clearly communicate success or failures by identifying insights and effects on the company goals over time.
  • Manage e-commerce campaigns and promotion calendar strategies that work with new product launches, branding initiatives, seasonally relevant periods, and revenue goals.
  • Partner with the Engineering team to identify and manage relationships with third-party vendors to support business strategies and objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally to prioritize and translate merchandising goals into team activities and help drive product development from ideation to launch, partnering with designers, product managers, engineers, and creative/copy to translate requirements to production
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of core product breadth and collaborate cross-functionally to drive initiatives that highlight our product in dynamic ways.
  • Regularly prioritize business/use cases in the backlog with Product Management and Engineering to help ensure focus on the highest value work.
  • Gather, analyze, and become an expert in customer and business needs – both quantitative and qualitative – and translate them to insights that drive decision-making.
  • Own existing website taxonomy with our growing product assortment to optimize the customer journey efficiently and compellingly.
  • Serve as the e-commerce subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders by staying ahead of industry trends
  • Enhance UX patterns across e-commerce and membership to help inform business decisions on personalization, search, and filtering strategies.

What You Have

  • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in fashion/retail
  • Motivation to take a leadership role within a growing e-commerce brand, assuming ownership of the website and all corresponding performance metrics
  • Results-driven; excited to drive real impact, not just completing tasks
  • Data-driven with analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights
  • The ability to put yourself in the shoes of our target customer, anticipating and understanding the customer journey
  • A/B testing experience with the ability to apply learnings to site merchandising optimizations
  • Complex problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Experience with analytics and event tracking tools such as Heap and Looker
  • Comfortable in working cross-functionally as well as with external partners
  • Excellent communication, close attention to detail, and project management skills are a must
  • A high degree of self-direction and independent drive; ambitious and fast-moving while also open to new ideas
  • Experience working in web content management platforms, Shopify Plus, and the ability to learn new platforms quickly
  • Effective, quick decision-making abilities to set priorities with stakeholders
