Position: Calibration Technologist and Technician
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $59 - $114/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Analyze test data to identify defects and determine calibration requirements.
- Calibrate instruments measuring pressure, temperature, humidity, and environmental factors.
- Conduct performance and compliance testing on mechanical and electronic equipment.
- Develop and implement improved calibration methods and procedures.
- Prepare detailed calibration reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance standards.
- Stay updated on calibration tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience in calibration, metrology, or instrumentation.
- Proficiency in calibrating environmental and sensor-based measurement devices.
- Strong experience in data analysis and defect detection.
- Ability to use calibration software and maintain accurate documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
