Associate Financial Analyst

This position is for a Financial Analysts who is driven with basic understanding financial principles/terms, ready to have an immersive experience within the Separate Accounts group. This candidate should be a motivated team player and can expect to assist with the preparation of journal entries, financial report analysis and other accounting duties. Additionally, this candidate has a passion for process improvement and robotic technologies. The position reports to the Assistant Vice President of Separate Accounts in Tampa, FL. Key Responsibilities: Prepare/post journal entries Reconciliations Generate and export various reports from the accounting systems to assist with financial analysis. Financial Reporting Assist with document processes and controls Perform other related duties as assigned or required Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience. Aptitude for math, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Office Strong verbal and written communication skills Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible Preferred: Experience using Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) a plus Experience using Access (tables, queries, etc) a plus
