Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Perform requirements gathering, analysis, and design for projects and enhancements, including technical specifications for all FICO configurations and interfaces to/from the FICO modules.
• SAP Finance Functionality: Understand and focus on SAP Finance functionality, primarily Financial Accounting and Controlling, with knowledge of Finance integration with Product Costing and Operations.
• Agile Product Team: Assist in building and sustaining an Agile Product Team to support the delivery of critical business transformation processes in SAP ECC and S4/HANA.
• Build and Test Activities: Coordinate build and test activities, including agile delivery and test automation, for the S4/HANA Finance area.
• Mentorship and Consultation: Serve as a mentor and internal consultant on SAP FICO aspects to junior team members and partner with key business finance team members to evolve IT Finance operations.
• Global Collaboration: Collaborate directly with the global team on support and projects, developing recommendations to best address issues.
• User Support: Address queries and issues from users in the same time zone, providing support during business hours.
• Industry Best Practices and Strategy: Advise management on industry best practices, application capabilities, and assist with setting strategies for the optimal use of SAP S4/HANA.

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least one end-to-end S4HANA implementation.
• Ability to work according to Nigeria time zone (12 to 9 Pm)
• Prior experience with reputed consulting companies.
• A bachelor’s degree in technology is a minimum.
• Ability to resolve customer issues reported via the IT Service Desk System in compliance with applicable SLA (Service Level Agreement). Provide support to junior staff members for unresolved issues.
• Willingness to travel to Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and South Africa as per business requirements.
• Based in Chennai or willing to relocate to Chennai.
• Willing to work in a hybrid work model.
