Role Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic CHRO / People Lead to build and scale our clients People function. This leader will own all aspects of hiring, culture-building, organizational design, performance management, and people operations. The ideal candidate has successfully scaled a team at a fast-growing startup (especially post-Series A), and has built high-performance orgs across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing functions. This role is perfect for someone who can operate at both strategic and execution levels, deeply cares about people, and has discipline, clarity, and empathy as core value.


Key Responsibilities :

Talent Acquisition and Organizational Scaling

  • Lead end-to-end hiring across engineering, manufacturing, GTM, and business functions.
  • Define and implement fast yet high-quality recruiting pipelines to meet scaling needs.
  • Develop compensation frameworks and hiring playbooks aligned to market and company stage


People Strategy and Org Design

  • Partner with the CEO to define org structure and evolve it as the company scales
  • Build succession plans and leadership development tracks
  • Create scalable onboarding, performance evaluation, and career progression systems


Culture and Discipline

  • Institutionalize company values and ensure cultural alignment during rapid team growth.
  • Build systems that encourage accountability, psychological safety, and ownership.
  • Mediate and manage conflicts, feedback loops, and employee wellness proactively.


People Ops and Compliance

  • Set up HR systems, policies, and compliance frameworks for both Indian and international operations.
  • Manage payroll, benefits, ESOP administration, and labor law compliance.
  • Work with external partners (legal, finance, recruiters, consultants) as needed.


Skill Requirements

  • 10+ years of HR/People experience; at least 2 roles where you led HR in a growth-stage startup (Series A–C)
  • Prior exposure to hardware and manufacturing talent hiring is a must .
  • Experience in building orgs from 30 to 200+ people .
  • Deep understanding of startup scaling dynamics, especially in India
  • Strong operational chops: can set up processes that scale without red tape .
  • A high EQ leader who is empathetic yet decisive, and can lead both strategic planning and day-to-day execution
  • Past experience with both founder-led orgs and structured corporations is highly valued .


Nice to Have

  • Exposure to international HR and compliance, especially for US and UAE markets.
  • Experience with early-stage employer branding and university recruitment programs .
  • Experience with setting up factory HR operations or managing field/blue-collar teams.
