Nawal Analytical Labs is expanding.
As part of our strategic diversification into Softline, Hardline, and Metallurgical Testing, we are looking for an experienced Metallurgist to join our Hosur laboratory and help build a robust metals testing vertical.
This is a key role for a professional who wants to contribute to developing advanced materials testing capabilities in a growing analytical laboratory environment.
🔎 Role Overview
The Metallurgist will be responsible for establishing and managing metallurgical testing operations, ensuring technical accuracy, method validation, and compliance with relevant national and international standards.
🧪 Key Responsibilities
• Conduct metallurgical analysis including chemical, mechanical, and microstructural testing
• Perform and interpret tests such as tensile strength, hardness, impact, corrosion, and metallography
• Support method development and validation for metals and alloys
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
• Maintain equipment calibration and quality control systems
• Support business development through technical consultation with clients
• Contribute to expanding services in hardline product testing
🎓 Qualifications
• B.Tech / M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science
• 3–8 years of experience in a testing laboratory or industrial QA/QC environment
• Experience with spectroscopy, metallography, mechanical testing, or corrosion analysis
• Knowledge of ASTM, ISO, BIS standards preferred
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
