We are actively looking for passionate and driven Metallurgists to join our team at Kiran Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd., Jalgaon.
🔹 Position: Metallurgist
🔹 Openings: 2
🔹 Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy / Materials Science
🔹 Experience: Fresher or up to 1 year
💼 What You’ll Do:
Operation of the Metallurgical Microscope and Image Analyzer Software and Sample Preparation (Mounting and Polishing of Components), including:
* Microscope operation, focusing, illumination, and sample viewing
* Camera interface and image capture
* Use of Image Analyzer software:
o Measurement tools (2D Measurement)
o Grain size measurement (by linear intercept mentod)
o Nodularity measurement
o Flakes Analysis
o Inclusion rating
o Decarb Measurement
o Thickness Measurement
o Phase Percentage - Black and White Phase (Structure identification will be done by a metallurgist)
o Report generation of above measurement
* Basic sample preparation (polishing & mounting machine operation)
-Metallurgical analysis, heat-treatment evaluation, mechanical testing, and process interpretation,
* Interpretation of microstructure of raw material, hardened/tempered material
* Identification of tempered martensite, ferrite, pearlite, bainite, etc.
* Grain flow interpretation
* Grain boundary analysis for metallurgical evaluation
* Core hardness / surface hardness
* Metallurgical conclusion or acceptance criteria based on customer specification
* Failure analysis, process recommendations, or heat-treatment validation
