We are looking for highly motivated interns to join our engineering team and work on Metal Additive Manufacturing, with a strong focus on Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM).
This is not a typical internship — you’ll be working on real industrial problems, contributing to the development of large-scale metallic components and marine spare parts.
🔧 What You’ll Work On
- WAAM process development & optimization
- Weld-based metal additive manufacturing
- Deposition strategy, toolpath planning & bead analysis
- Process parameter optimization (current, voltage, speed, etc.)
- Distortion, residual stress & material behavior
- Metallurgy, testing & validation
- CAD-based design for manufacturability (DfAM)
- Real-world fabrication & industrial-scale R&D
🎓 Who Can Apply
Students / Researchers pursuing:
- B.Tech (3rd/Final Year or recent grads)
- M.Tech / MS / PhD
From fields like:
Mechanical | Manufacturing | Metallurgy | Materials | Welding | Aerospace | Mechatronics | Robotics | Marine Engineering
🛠 Preferred Skills
- Interest in Metal AM / WAAM / Welding
- CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX, Fusion 360, etc.)
- Understanding of materials & manufacturing
- Hands-on lab / fabrication experience (bonus)
