Who should apply RPMs are hired from a variety of technical and non-technical backgrounds, including recent graduates and people with full-time experience in various industries. The RPM program also is suited for individuals completely new to the product manager (PM) function. People who already have more than one year of PM experience, inclusive of PM internships, should apply for product manager roles listed at Meta Careers, if they meet all minimum qualifications for the role. The RPM program is built with cognitive diversity in mind. This enables everyone at Meta to build better technologies and make better decisions for the billions of people who use Meta technologies. Successful RPM candidates bring Analytical and problem-solving skills: They can define and analyze metrics to make informed decisions. Organizational and leadership skills: They have experience helping others play to their strengths, working with a number of colleagues to prioritize tasks and get things done in a fast-paced environment. How to apply for the RPM program RPMs are hired once a year for 2 start dates in the following calendar year. The RPM Program is supported by several Meta Offices, including Menlo Park, Seattle, and New York City. Applications generally open in late summer or early fall. Your application to the program will require a resume and responses to short questions. These questions should take no longer than 1 hour to complete. Applicants must answer these questions before submitting their application to the program, so applicants should be mindful of the application deadline and plan accordingly. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and we encourage applicants to be patient in hearing back about next steps. How the RPM program works RPM program participants start by completing a product bootcamp, which combines training of tools, processes and product management best practices while receiving continuous mentorship. Over the course of the program, participants will work on high-impact projects across 3 different product teams.
