About the Company
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MES Implementation Lead with 7–12 years of experience to drive the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
About the Role
The ideal candidate bridges the gap between digital engineering design (CATIA V5/V6, ENOVIA PLM) and shop-floor execution, ensuring seamless transfer of Engineering BOMs (eBOMs), Manufacturing BOMs (mBOMs), process routings, and engineering change orders (ECOs) into ERP (SAP S/4HANA / PP) and MES environments (DELMIA Apriso, SAP ME/DM, or Rockwell FactoryTalk).
Responsibilities
- MES Implementation & Configuration
- Lead end-to-end MES deployment lifecycles across manufacturing sites, including business process mapping (AS-IS / TO-BE), detailed solution design, configuration, in-sprint testing, and go-live support.
- Configure shop-floor execution modules: Production Operator Dashboards (PODs), Work Centers, SFC tracking, Non-Conformance (NC) management, Data Collections, Hook Points, and operator certifications.
- PLM–ERP–MES Integration & Handoff
- Architect and manage data flows linking upstream PLM systems (ENOVIA / CATIA) to ERP (SAP PP/MM) and downstream shop-floor execution platforms (MES).
- Translate 3D CAD models, assembly structures, and manufacturing process plans from CATIA V5/V6 and ENOVIA PLM into executable shop-floor routings, visual work instructions, and mBOMs.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN) to ensure design updates flow accurately to active production lines without disrupting execution.
- ERP Interface & Execution Management
- Oversee production order releases, routing steps, goods movements (e.g., Movement Types 261, 311, 101), and quality inspection lot creation between ERP and MES.
- Troubleshoot and resolve transactional interface issues, IDoc errors (inbound/outbound), and API/web-service payload failures.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between Engineering, IT, Quality, and Plant Operations to ensure smooth system adoption.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, SLA compliance, root-cause analysis (RCA), and CAPA for production-critical incidents.
Qualifications
- Education
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronics, or Information Technology.
Required Skills
- Domain Required Skill Set Experience
- 10–12 years in MES implementation, manufacturing engineering, and PLM integration.
- PLM & CAD Tools
- Direct hands-on exposure to ENOVIA PLM (eBOM management, ECO routing) and CATIA V5/V6 (3D design review, manufacturing process planning).
- MES Platforms
- Deep functional/technical experience in DELMIA Apriso, SAP ME / SAP DM, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or equivalent enterprise MES.
- ERP Modules
- Expertise in SAP PP / MM / QM (Production Orders, Routings, MICs, IDoc processing, Goods Issues).
- Integration Protocols
- Practical understanding of ISA-95/ISA-88 standards, REST/SOAP APIs, SAP MII/PCo, and database languages (SQL / PL-SQL).
- Methodology
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, Azure DevOps/JIRA, and ITIL practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform (DELMIA + ENOVIA + CATIA integration).
- Hands-on familiarity with shop-floor labeling solutions (Loftware, BarTender) and OPC connectivity (Kepware).
- Need someone who can join immediately to 45 days maximum.
