Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a MERN Stack Developer. As part of the development team, the selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Responsibilities include writing clean and scalable code, optimizing applications for performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with the team to implement new features. The candidate will also be involved in improving existing functionalities and ensuring the highest standards of security and responsiveness in the applications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js for developing full-stack applications.
- Experience in database design and handling RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.js for building user interfaces.
- Understanding of backend technologies, server-side programming, and API integration.
- Experience with testing, debugging, and performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to work in an Agile software development environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset, willing to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Experience or interest in e-commerce applications is an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
