Job Description – MERN Stack Developer (Immediate Joiners Only)
Position: MERN Stack Developer
Job Type: 6 Months Contractual Role (Extendable)
Location: Remote / Bengaluru
Experience: 5+ Years
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced MERN Stack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, good hands-on experience in React.js, and strong knowledge of SQL databases. The candidate should be capable of developing scalable applications, handling backend APIs, and supporting database operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop responsive and interactive UI components using React.js.
- Work on SQL databases for query optimization, data handling, and integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX, and DevOps.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code.
- Follow best practices for coding, security, and deployment.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Node.js
- Good experience in React.js
- Strong knowledge of SQL Databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MS SQL)
- Experience with REST APIs and backend integrations
- Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and ES6
- Knowledge of Git/version control systems
- Familiarity with MongoDB is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Contract Details
- Initial Contract Duration: 6 Months
- Contract extension based on project requirements and performance
