Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site MERN Stack Developer role located in Surat. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) technology stack. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems while ensuring scalable and efficient code. Other responsibilities include implementing user interface components, optimizing application performance, and integrating APIs. Active participation in code reviews and ensuring compliance with best practices is expected.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MERN Stack technologies: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
- Experience with front-end and back-end development, including API integration and database management
- Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI/UX design principles
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Knowledge of Git version control and collaborative tools
- Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Prior experience working in Shopify or e-commerce projects is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment
