About The Role
We are seeking a talented MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications that handle real production traffic and complex business workflows. You will work on developing high-quality backend services, REST APIs, and engaging frontend interfaces, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of professional experience working with the MERN stack, demonstrating strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js. You should possess solid expertise in MongoDB, including schema design and aggregation framework, along with a good understanding of REST API development. Experience working within microservices architecture, familiarity with caching mechanisms such as Redis, and messaging/queue systems is essential. A solid grasp of system design principles, scalability considerations, and the ability to work independently with a sense of ownership are critical. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with large-scale production systems, cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, containerization tools such as Docker, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Prior exposure to the fintech or wealthtech industry is also advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications utilizing the MERN stack.
- Build robust backend services and REST APIs with Node.js and Express.js to support business workflows.
- Create frontend interfaces using React.js, focusing on performance, usability, and responsiveness.
- Design MongoDB schemas and write efficient queries, including aggregation pipelines for complex data operations.
- Implement caching strategies utilizing Redis to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Work with messaging and queue systems to facilitate background processing and asynchronous workflows.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of a microservices-based architecture.
- Contribute to system design discussions, providing insights on scalability, security, and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate effectively with product teams, QA, and DevOps to ensure seamless deployment and system stability.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to maintain high system availability and performance.
