Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) – Team Lead to join our growing team on a full-time remote contractual basis. The ideal candidate should possess 4–6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js), along with proven experience in leading development teams.
This role requires a technically strong leader who can contribute through hands-on development while managing developers, planning project execution, reviewing code, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN Stack.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Design scalable application architecture and database structures.
- Develop secure and efficient REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, management, and other stakeholders.
- Estimate project timelines and participate in sprint planning.
- Communicate project updates and technical progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time without compromising quality.
- Maintain technical documentation and development best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of WebSockets/Socket.IO.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
- Experience building SaaS products is an added advantage.
Employment Terms
- Full-time remote (Work From Home) opportunity.
- Initial contractual employment for 8 months.
- Working schedule: 5.5 days per week.
- Based on performance during the contract period and business requirements, candidates may be offered a permanent position with the company and transitioned to the organization's standard CTC structure.

Compensation Options
We understand that every professional's situation is different. Therefore, we offer flexible engagement models:
Option 1 – Contract Completion Bonus
- Work with us on an 8-month contractual basis.
- Receive a mutually agreed lump-sum payout upon successful completion of the contract.
- Outstanding performers will be offered a full-time position with a competitive CTC and long-term career growth.
Option 2 – ESOP-Based Compensation
- Receive Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) benefits during the contract period.
- As the company grows, you participate in the value you help create.
- Upon successful completion of the contract, high-performing candidates may transition into permanent full-time roles.
- If you choose not to continue after the contract period, you may retain or realize value from your vested ESOPs in accordance with the company's ESOP policy and applicable terms.
