Role Description
We are seeking a MERN Developer Lead for a full-time remote position. This is an unpaid role until funding is secured, offering the opportunity to play a key role in a growing startup. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js). You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure efficient code reviews, and maintain project timelines while staying updated with emerging technologies and frameworks in web application development.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in working with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, with strong problem-solving abilities and system design experience.
- In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience in implementing scalable back-end solutions, integrating APIs, and managing databases effectively.
- Leadership experience with the ability to guide and mentor a development team, manage projects, and ensure code quality through reviews.
- Knowledge of modern development methodologies, agile practices, and version control systems such as Git.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving, particularly in a startup environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
