Role Description The MERN Developer will work full time in a hybrid arrangement based in Gurugram, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js that support Multyfi’s AI-driven investment platforms. The developer will build secure APIs, integrate front-end interfaces with back-end services, optimize application performance, and ensure scalability and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, collaborating with product and data teams, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of the technology stack. The MERN Developer will also help integrate analytics, automation workflows, and user-facing features that enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in MERN stack technologies, including MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON-based services, and integration of front-end and back-end components.
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with database design, query optimization, and performance tuning for NoSQL or relational databases.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and use of testing frameworks or tools for JavaScript applications.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code, document technical decisions, and follow secure coding practices.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional teams with product and data specialists.
- Exposure to fintech, investment platforms, or data-driven applications is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
