Position: Conservation Scientist

Type: Contract

Compensation: $65–$115/hour

Location: US, UK, or Canada

Duration: Through mid 2026

Commitment: 15+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Design questions related to conservation science for AI research projects.
  • Evaluate AI model training and outputs to enhance accuracy in conservation contexts.
  • Collaborate with AI teams to improve model reasoning and data quality.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
  • Utilize technical skills to shape AI model performance in conservation tasks.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4+ years full-time work experience as a Conservation Scientist.
  • Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not accepted).

Compensation & Legal
