Mental Health Specialist

Mercor is recruiting medical professionals with experience in mental health treatment and digital research for research projects with leading AI labs.

These projects will involve advising prominent researchers on how large language models and other AI tools can be leveraged responsibly to make a profound impact on mental health treatments.

You are a good fit if you:

• Hold a PhD or MD from an accredited university with expertise in one of the following:
• Eating Disorder Treatment
• Emergency Mental Health Interventions
• Outpatient Mental Health Treatment
• Digital Addiction Treatment
• Have a deep interest in the way that AI and digital tools can be used responsibly in order to improve crisis intervention or psychiatric treatments

Details about the role:

• This role will pay $100-$200/hour depending on background and experience
• The work is fully remote and asynchronous so you can do it around your schedule

With respect to pay and legal status:

• We can meet industry-standard compensation expectations for your current role
• You will be classified as an “at-will” independent contractor to Mercor
• We are primarily recruiting candidates based in the US, Canada, or Europe, but will consider top candidates from other geographies
• We cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates
• The advertised pay range is for U.S.-based applicants; the pay range will vary depending on where you're geographically based but we aim to keep compensation competitive for all geographic areas

Mercor is also offering a successful referral fee of $250 per candidate you refer who is hired.
