Engineering System Engineer

Mercor is seeking Cybersecurity & Threat Intelligence experts for a project with a leading AI research lab.

You're a great fit if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, threat intelligence, or penetration testing.
• Deep subject matter expertise in areas such as network security, cryptography, secure systems design, vulnerability assessment, or incident response.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and frameworks like Wireshark, Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, or SIEM solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing security documentation, reports, or training content.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex security scenarios and provide expert-level feedback.

• This project is scoped to last a minimum of 2–4 weeks, with the potential for extension.
• You will be expected to commit 20–40 hours per week, with fully flexible hours — you choose when you work!
