Arabic Bilingual Generalist

Mercor is seeking native Arabic speakers for a short-term project with a leading AI lab. Role Responsibilities Conduct assessment of spoken Arabic and verify audio contents. Watch videos of content in Arabic and provide feedback. Collaborate with different teams to ensure culturally relevant and linguistically accurate assessments. Stay up to date with current trends in Arabic language, slang, formalities, and cultural nuances. Evaluate the use of virtual or avatar-based platforms to deliver or evaluate Arabic language content. Ideal Candidates Should Have: Native-Level Proficiency: Native fluency in Arabic (i.e., born and raised in Arabic-speaking country). Cultural Expertise: Deep understanding of Arabic cultural norms, traditions, and communication etiquette. Current Cultural Literacy: Up to date with modern Arabic trends, slang, idioms, and regional expressions. Audio Requirements: Ability to listen to and watch video content through headphones on a computer. Nice to Have: Bilingual Communication Skills: High proficiency in English to explain Arabic concepts clearly and effectively. Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using virtual platforms and digital tools for assessments or teaching. Teaching Experience: Prior experience in language tutoring or teaching, especially in conversational Arabic. Assessment Knowledge: Familiarity with language testing methodologies and evaluation frameworks.
