We work with brands, retailers, and merchants to bring seamless financing options directly to the point of sale.
Role overview
We are hiring across levels, from merchant acquisition executives to experienced distribution leaders.
We are looking for a leader to help build and scale 1Fi’s offline merchant network across categories such as consumer electronics, appliances, education, travel, and 2-Wheeler dealerships.
This role sits at the intersection of merchant partnerships, field expansion, and revenue growth. You will work closely with the founders to develop the offline go-to-market strategy and expand 1Fi’s presence across key retail ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute 1Fi’s offline go-to-market strategy to expand merchant acceptance.
- Identify and onboard key retail chains and offline merchants.
- Build and lead the on-ground merchant acquisition team.
- Drive early merchant acquisition through direct field engagement.
- Ensure 1Fi’s financing solution is enabled and actively used at the merchant checkout.
- Train merchant staff and internal field teams on the product and sales process.
- Work with product, tech, and lender teams to support integrations and share market feedback.
Requirements
Must Have
- Experience in merchant acquisition, field sales, or partnerships
- Experience in fintech or checkout financing ecosystems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with field work and on-ground merchant engagement
- Ability to work in a high-ownership early-stage environment
Good to Have
- Experience with companies such as Bajaj Finance, Pine Labs, Razorpay, or similar fintech platforms
- Existing relationships with electronics, appliance, or EV merchants
