Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Merchant-Home professional, based in Noida.
- The Merchant-Home will handle day-to-day merchant management, including vendor coordination, product range planning, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiation Of Costs, terms and delivery timelines to ensure profitability from buyers.
- collaborate with marketing and operations teams for effective product launches.
- making Requisition for bulk fabric.
- Swatch Board making & approval.
- raw material collection.
- conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities & risks.
- Prepare repots on Sales, inventory and profitability for management review.
- collect daily production & quality report.
- ordering trims and making fabric requirement details under the supervision of seniors.
Qualifications
- Competency in vendor management, product selection, and inventory coordination
- Strong skills in market analysis and trend forecasting
- Experience with negotiation strategies and cost optimization techniques
- Ability to maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and merchandising or inventory management tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in merchandising or retail operations is a plus
