Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Howrah for a Merchandising Coordinator. The individual will be responsible for managing merchandising operations, maintaining inventory coordination, tracking product performance, and supporting the planning and execution of merchandising strategies. The role also involves communication with vendors, ensuring timely product deliveries, analyzing sales trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize product assortment and presentation to maximize revenue.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in merchandising operations and inventory management
- Strong skills in product performance analysis and sales trend evaluation
- Experience in vendor communication and ensuring timely product deliveries
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and reporting systems for actionable insights
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other related software; knowledge of merchandising software is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant work experience is a plus
