We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our international buyers and production units, ensuring that home textile and woven garment orders are executed with precision, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Order Management: Oversee the end-to-end merchandising lifecycle, from initial order placement to final shipment delivery.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for buyers, vendors, and internal departments (Sampling, Production, and QA) to ensure seamless workflow.
- Development & Costing: Lead product development initiatives, manage accurate costing, and conduct strategic price negotiations to meet margin targets.
- Timeline Monitoring: Create and monitor Time & Action (T&A) plans to track production milestones and guarantee on-time delivery.
- Quality & Compliance: Partner with the QA team to ensure all products meet brand-specific quality standards and international compliance regulations.
- Reporting: Maintain real-time order status trackers and prepare comprehensive production reports for senior management.
Requirements- Experience: 4–6 years of proven experience in woven garment or home textile merchandising.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of fabric types, trims, garment construction, and industrial production processes.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to manage diverse vendor and buyer relationships.
- Systems: High proficiency in MS Excel (for data analysis) and experience working within ERP systems.
