Casa Amarosa is a design-led home goods brand working with artisan producers across India and selling to 1,500+ retailers globally. We blend handcrafted production with modern retail execution, and we are growing fast across international markets.
We are hiring a Merchandiser and Procurement Manager to own sourcing, vendor management, costing, and production execution across our product categories. This is a hands-on, commercially driven role based in Mumbai for someone who understands both product development and supply chain discipline.
Responsibilities
Manage vendor relationships across ceramics, textiles, metalware, glassware, resin, and home décor categories. Source new factories and artisan partners aligned with Casa Amarosa quality and design standards. Negotiate costing, MOQs, lead times, and production timelines to protect margins and delivery schedules. Track all purchase orders from development through to final shipment. Ensure product quality, packaging, labelling, and compliance readiness for global retail. Coordinate sampling processes and new product development launches with the design team. Improve margins through smarter sourcing, planning, and vendor consolidation. Work with the operations team on dispatch planning and export shipment readiness. Maintain merchandising calendars, status trackers, and category-level reporting.
Requirements
4 to 8 years of experience in merchandising, sourcing, procurement, or export operations. Background in home décor, furniture, lifestyle, gifting, textiles, or consumer goods. Strong vendor management and negotiation skills with direct factory experience. Highly organised and deadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple categories simultaneously. Strong proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement tracking tools. Fluent in English and Hindi.
Preferred Qualifications
Export experience to US or European markets. Knowledge of packaging standards and compliance requirements for global retail. Existing vendor network across India in relevant categories. Experience working with artisan, handmade, or handcrafted product categories.
