Role Description The Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The Merchandiser will coordinate with buyers and internal teams to manage product development, sampling, and order execution for apparel, accessories, and home goods. Daily responsibilities include tracking production timelines, ensuring quality standards, preparing costing and pricing, and maintaining clear communication with clients and vendors. The role also involves monitoring market trends, supporting sales presentations, and working closely with design, production, and quality teams to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations. The Merchandiser will contribute to building strong client relationships and supporting business growth through effective merchandising strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with buyers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Customer Service abilities to manage client queries, build long-term relationships, and ensure buyer satisfaction.
- Sales and Retail experience to understand buyer requirements, product performance, and market preferences.
- Marketing awareness to support product positioning, trend analysis, and presentation of collections to customers.
- Relevant experience in merchandising, preferably in apparel, accessories, or home goods export or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and timelines, with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) and comfort working with order and production documentation.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion, Textiles, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
