Role Description
We are hiring a full-time, on-site B2B Sales Executive (Merchandising) based in Kolkata. This is a field-heavy sales role focused on acquiring bulk order clients - primarily brands, retailers, corporates, and institutional buyers. The person will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to order closure, coordinating directly with the directors for pricing negotiations and finalizing terms.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and connect with potential B2B clients for large-volume appar
el orders• Build and maintain a pipeline of leads across brands, retailers, distributors, and corporate buyers
• Present our product range, capabilities, and pricing to prospective clients
• Coordinate with directors for negotiation, approval, and deal closure
• Liaise with production and operations teams to ensure order feasibility and timely execution
• Follow up on samples, approvals, payments, and repeat orders
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and order status
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Sales and Retail operations with a focus on meeting targets and understanding client needs.
- Experience in Marketing, with the ability to identify trends and curate strategies to align with market demands.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata and manage day-to-day activities efficiently.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Previous experience in the textile or apparel industry is a plus.
