Maveneco India is looking for a passionate and experienced Merchandiser to join our growing team. If you thrive in a fast-paced sourcing and product development environment and enjoy working directly with international buyers and suppliers, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the complete merchandising cycle from product development to shipment.
* Coordinate directly with international buyers, suppliers, and factories.
* Handle sampling, costing, order execution, production follow-ups, and approvals.
* Prepare and manage Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure timely deliveries.
* Source fabrics, trims, and new product developments aligned with buyer requirements.
* Work closely with QA and production teams to maintain quality and delivery standards.
* Monitor critical paths, identify risks proactively, and drive timely resolutions.
* Maintain accurate merchandising documentation and regular buyer updates.
Requirements
* 5–8 years of experience in apparel merchandising within a buying house or export house.
* Strong understanding of woven apparel, product development, sourcing, and production.
* Experience handling international buyer accounts independently.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising documentation.
