The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Garment Export Merchandiser to facilitate the execution of export orders from sampling to final shipment. You will act as a vital coordinating link between our international clients and our internal production teams, ensuring operations run smoothly and consistently meet our strict quality and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Execution: Support the complete order lifecycle, ensuring seamless day-to-day coordination from initial inquiry to final dispatch.
TNA Tracking: Monitor and maintain Time and Action (TNA) calendars to keep all export orders strictly on schedule.
Production Coordination: Track daily manufacturing stages across knitting, dyeing, compacting, and cutting/sewing, actively monitoring progress and highlighting potential bottlenecks.
Sample & Approval Facilitation: Coordinate the development and submission of required samples (Proto, Fit, Size Set, etc.) and facilitate the process for securing Pre-Production Approvals (PP APP).
Buyer Communication: Facilitate communication with assigned international clients by providing regular status updates and gathering necessary requirements.
Material Sourcing & Costing: Assist in raw material sourcing (yarn, trims, accessories) and help prepare preliminary costings and consumption sheets.
Quality Alignment: Work alongside the QA/QC teams to verify that bulk production aligns perfectly with approved tech packs and quality parameters.
Requirements:
Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience as a Merchandiser in the garment export industry (knitwear experience is highly preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising, Textile Technology, Fashion Management, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and the complete apparel manufacturing process.
Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities and a team-player mindset. Must be proficient in MS Excel and familiar with standard merchandising software/ERPs.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments effectively.
