Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Merchandiser - Textile, located in Coimbatore. The Merchandiser will be responsible for coordinating and managing product design, sourcing, and production processes for school-wear merchandise. Key responsibilities include working closely with clients, tracking orders, ensuring timely delivery, analyzing market trends, maintaining vendor relationships, and collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of merchandising strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for maintaining vendor relationships and addressing client needs
- Experience in Sales and Retail to support product promotion and market penetration
- Knowledge of Marketing techniques to develop and execute effective merchandising strategies
- Proficiency in organizational and time-management skills for overseeing end-to-end production workflows
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyze trends and consumer demands
- Familiarity with textile manufacturing processes and quality standards is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field is strongly desired
