About DROPZ
DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.
As a Merchandise Planner, you will help keep every drop commercially sharp, with the right depth, sizes, and timing, without breaking the scarcity promise. This is a 0 to 100 role for someone who loves product plus numbers, moves fast, takes ownership daily, and builds team culture through clarity, accountability, and care.
What Youll Do
Build and maintain accurate SKU and inventory trackers in spreadsheets, updating receipts, transfers, and availability daily so the team can make fast, confident decisions on upcoming drops.
Support assortment and buy planning by analyzing historical sell through, size performance, and price bands, then sharing clear recommendations that improve in stock rate, margin safety, and launch readiness.
Assist with drop level planning by mapping launch calendars to inventory flows, aligning with merchandising, creative, and ops, and flagging risks early so every drop lands on time with the right depth.
Monitor inventory health using simple planning metrics like sell through, stock cover, and weeks of supply, then propose replenishment or pull back actions that reduce dead stock and protect scarcity.
Help plan allocations across channels by reviewing demand signals and constraints, documenting allocation logic, and producing allocation sheets that the ops team can execute without rework.
Track purchase orders and receipts with vendors and internal stakeholders, following up on delays, updating ETAs, and ensuring the team has a single source of truth for landed inventory and gaps.
Support markdown and clearance planning by reviewing aging inventory and performance trends, then suggesting actions that recover cash while protecting the DROPZ brand and drop storytelling.
Produce weekly merchandise reports and dashboards for review meetings, highlighting what changed, why it changed, and what action is needed next so decisions are fast and aligned.
Improve planning hygiene by documenting templates, checks, and handoffs, and running quick quality audits that prevent sizing errors, pricing mismatches, and inventory miscounts.
Who You Are
You are comfortable working in Google Sheets or Excel daily, using pivots, lookups, and clean formatting to turn raw inventory and sales data into decisions the team can act on immediately.
You think in product logic and customer logic, connecting sizing, depth, and price to what will actually sell, not just what looks good on paper.
You are detail driven, and you catch issues early by running simple validation checks, reconciling counts, and flagging mismatches before they become drop day failures.
You communicate clearly with merch, ops, and vendors, sharing updates with context, written summaries, and next steps so stakeholders stay aligned and timelines stay protected.
You are curious about street culture, limited editions, and how hype products move, and you actively learn why certain drops win while others miss.
You stay calm in fast cycles, prioritize quickly, and deliver on deadlines with high ownership, even when requirements shift and the team needs you to adapt without drama.
You are a team first, low friction collaborator who builds culture by being dependable, open to feedback, and consistent about closing loops and documenting what you did.
You are willing to do the unglamorous work, including cleanup, reconciliation, and follow ups, because you care about the outcome and want DROPZ to win long term.
What We Offer
High ownership from day one, where your planning work directly shapes drop outcomes and you grow by building from 0 to 100 with a team that moves fast and stays accountable.
Close collaboration with leadership and cross functional teams, with real exposure to how merchandise, storytelling, and operations come together in a limited edition platform.
A culture that values clarity, craft, and momentum, where good work is visible and you are trusted with meaningful responsibilities, not busywork.
Space to improve systems, templates, and decision rituals, with support to experiment, learn quickly, and raise the quality bar week after week.
