Role Summary:
There is currently an opening for a full-time Practice Manager in Mercer Health Medical Group. The hours are primarily day shift hours with some evening shift hours. Previous experience working in a Physician Practice setting preferred. This position is a multi-functional position that serves as an organizational and problem-solving contact in the office setting. Under supervision, supports staff, management, and/or medical personnel with executing specific duties essential to the service being provided by the office. This position reports to the VP of Provider Practices.
Qualifications/Experience:
· Associate Degree in the clinical field; bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred.
· Candidate should have previous management experience, medical office management preferred.
· Should be knowledgeable about use of Microsoft Office, EMR (EPIC preferred), budgeting, staff scheduling, and revenue cycle management.
· Candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, providers, and Senior Leadership.
· Candidate will preferably have a strong nursing background in medical office operations.
· 3 to 5 years previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
· Minimum 1-year supervisory experience is preferred.
· Previous clinical experience preferred.
· Prior experience with an Electronic Medical Records System, preferably EPIC, is required.

· Past experience with a computerized charting system a plus.
· Maintain patient records, log books, and appointment schedule.
