Medical Receptionist

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar.
• Verify insurance information and process patient check-ins and check-outs.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
• Collect co-pays and balance payments.
• Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist with general administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification Required: Medical Assistant certification.
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience as a receptionist or medical assistant in a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Language Skills: Spanish or Punjabi speaking is a plus.
