Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Mercado Libre Account Manager to oversee and optimize our marketplace presence in Mexico. Responsible for end-to-end account management, including product listings, pricing strategy, inventory coordination, and performance optimization. Ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Mercado Libre seller accounts in Mexico. Strong understanding of the platform’s algorithms. Ability to drive sales growth while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, optimize, and manage product listings on Mercado Libre Mexico.
- Ensure listings are fully optimized for:
- SEO (titles, keywords, backend attributes)
- High-converting images and descriptions
- Manage variations, bundles, and refurbished product listings.
- Maintain compliance with category requirements and policies.
- Monitor and improve key metrics:
- Conversion rate
- Buy Box (Featured placement)
- Seller reputation score
- Implement pricing and promotion strategies.
- Analyze competitors and adjust listings accordingly.
- Coordinate with internal teams on inventory availability.
- Manage FBA-equivalent programs (Mercado Envíos / Fulfillment).
- Prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Oversee customer messaging and dispute resolution.
- Manage returns, claims, and negative feedback.
- Maintain high seller ratings and compliance.
- Manage Mercado Ads campaigns (sponsored listings).
- Optimize ad spend and ROI.
- Execute promotional campaigns (Hot Sale, Buen Fin, etc.).
- Provide weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Track sales, margins, and operational KPIs.
- Identify growth opportunities and risks.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience managing Mercado Libre seller accounts in Mexico.
- Strong understanding of Mercado Libre’s algorithms.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth while maintaining operational excellence.
