Role Description The MEPF Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire-fighting services for assigned projects. Day-to-day activities include reviewing and interpreting drawings and specifications, coordinating with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring that MEPF installations meet design intent, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, identifying issues, and proposing practical solutions to maintain quality, timelines, and cost efficiency. The MEPF Engineer will prepare technical reports, support documentation, and assist in quality assurance and commissioning activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems, including design principles, installation practices, and relevant codes and standards.
- Skills in project coordination, including cross-disciplinary communication with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and client representatives.
- Ability to conduct site inspections, monitor work quality, track progress against schedules, and support resolution of technical and execution issues.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a commitment to safe construction practices and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications in MEP or project management are an advantage.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Prior experience with large-scale infrastructure, institutional, or commercial projects is preferred; familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems is beneficial.
