About the Role:-
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Consultant to join a leading Real Estate Developer in Ghaziabad. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, reviewing, coordinating, and supervising MEP activities to ensure quality execution within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Prepare, review, and coordinate MEP drawings in accordance with project specifications.
- Monitor Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installation activities at construction sites.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of MEP works.
- Ensure all MEP works comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP services during project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports.
- Verify contractor bills and monitor work completion as per approved scope.
- Coordinate with procurement teams regarding MEP material requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspections, testing reports, and project records.
- Maintain project schedules and support timely completion of MEP activities.
Key Requirements:-
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in MEP coordination or consultancy within the real estate or construction industry.
- Knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Electrical, Plumbing, and ELV systems.
- Familiarity with Indian building codes, NBC, IS standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of project documentation, BOQs, and quantity verification.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Willingness to travel within project locations as required.
Preferred Skills:-
- Experience in residential and commercial real estate projects.
- Understanding of MEP testing and commissioning procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
