Role Purpose
The Manager – Planning & MEP Coordination is responsible for driving integrated planning, coordination, and performance tracking for all external MEP and infrastructure works across projects under the jurisdiction of the Project Head – External MEP & Infrastructure.
The role functions as the planning and control backbone of the External MEP organisation, enabling timely execution through disciplined scheduling, rigorous tracking, and high-quality reporting.
Scope of Responsibility
Project-wide planning, scheduling, and coordination for external MEP & infrastructure worksDevelopment and upkeep of integrated execution schedulesOwnership of dashboards, trackers, MIS, and reporting cadenceCoordination across site execution teams, design, central planning, contractors, and vendorsTracking execution readiness, interfaces, and dependencies to prevent delays
Key Accountabilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
Develop and maintain detailed external MEP & infrastructure schedules aligned with master plans.Track milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across packages.Proactively flag risks and drive timely corrective actions.
MEP Coordination & Interface Management
Drive day-to-day coordination between execution teams, design, planning, and contractors.Track GFC releases, RFIs, approvals, and execution readiness.Ensure interface issues are identified early and closed systematically.
Dashboards, MIS & Reporting
Own dashboards, trackers, and MIS for progress, risks, and execution health.Ensure accurate, timely, and decision-ready reporting to the Project Head and stakeholders.Support reviews with clear insights, trends, and exception highlights.
Execution Monitoring & Controls
Track daily and weekly progress against plans and identify slippages early.Monitor readiness parameters (drawings, materials, manpower, access).Support governance forums with structured data and action tracking.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
Enable alignment through clear, structured, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.Support the Project Head with executive updates and review material.

Requirements
Education
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringMaster’s degree in Project Management / Planning / Operations Management preferred
Experience
5–10 years of overall experience in project planning, coordination, or project controls within construction / real estate environments, including a minimum of 2 years of hands-on MEP site execution experience.Exposure to end-to-end project cycles, covering planning, execution tracking, coordination, and performance reporting
