Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a MEP Operation and Maintenance Engineer located in Mengio. The engineer will oversee daily operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with relevant standards. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and site teams for timely resolution. The role involves reviewing technical drawings, supporting commissioning activities, maintaining detailed documentation and reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of building services. The engineer will work closely with project and design teams to align operational practices with client requirements and industrial best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including operation, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and design documents, and apply them to on-site implementation.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root-cause analysis for building services equipment and systems.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance planning, documentation, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field) from a recognized institution.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Mengio, manage multiple tasks, and respond promptly to operational priorities.
- Hands-on experience in industrial or commercial projects and familiarity with industry-standard tools or software is an advantage.
