Role Description The MEP Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for leading all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across residential projects. This role oversees design reviews, coordination with architects and structural engineers, and integration of MEP systems into overall project plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising MEP design and installation, reviewing CAD drawings, managing vendors and contractors, monitoring site execution, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations. The MEP Head will lead and mentor the MEP project team, manage schedules and budgets, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide regular progress updates to senior management. The role also involves optimizing energy efficiency and system reliability, supporting handover activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of MEP practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong Mechanical Engineering background with proven expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for residential projects.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management for construction projects.
- Effective Team Management capabilities, with experience leading multidisciplinary site and office-based engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; advanced qualifications in MEP or building services are an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards applicable to residential developments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Prior experience in large-scale residential or mixed-use projects in Noida or similar markets is preferred.
