Role Description:-
We are offering an exciting on-site internship opportunity for an MEP/Fire Safety Engineer in Ahmedabad. The intern will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining fire safety and suppression systems. Core responsibilities include conducting site assessments, ensuring compliance with safety standards, preparing system designs, providing technical support, and collaborating with a team of safety professionals on various projects.
Key Responsibility:-
- Supervise and coordinate the installation of fire fighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, FM200, CO2, water mist, etc.).
- Review project specifications, drawings, and materials to ensure compliance with NFPA, local fire codes, and standards.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the installation phase.
- Perform and oversee testing and commissioning of fire protection systems, including functional performance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities (e.g., Civil Defense) for inspections and approvals.
- Prepare and submit method statements, inspection reports, and test reports.
- Ensure adherence to HSE guidelines and safe work practices on-site.
- Train end-users or client personnel on system operation and maintenance, if required
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Fire Protection Engineering and Safety Engineering
- Knowledge of Fire Safety and Life Safety protocols
- Understanding of Fire Suppression Systems and their application
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Location:- Ahmedabad
Experience :- 1 - 4 years
Salary :- 3 - 4 LPA
Preferred Candidate :- Candidate should be from Ahmedabad (Locally)
