Role Summary
The MEP Execution Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The role involves ensuring quality execution, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and clients, and delivering projects within defined timelines while maintaining technical and quality standards
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Coordination
- Lead end-to-end execution of MEP projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards
- Develop execution plans, monitor project milestones, identify risks, and drive timely resolutions
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, OEMs, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Plan and supervise site activities, ensuring work sequencing, site readiness, and smooth coordination across Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, ELV, and other project discipline
2. Technical Supervision & Quality Assurance
- Review MEP drawings, BOQs, layouts, specifications, and technical documents prior to execution
- Provide technical guidance to execution teams, contractors, and vendors while resolving site-level technical challenges
- Ensure all execution activities comply with engineering standards, statutory requirements, project specifications, and client expectations
- Conduct site inspections, monitor testing and commissioning activities, recommend engineering solutions, and ensure proper quality documentation and project handovers
3. Project Monitoring & Stakeholder Management
- Track project progress against schedules and prepare regular status reports highlighting milestones, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
- Monitor contractor performance, execution quality, and material readiness in coordination with procurement teams
- Escalate critical issues proactively and participate in project review meetings.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, effective coordination, and successful project delivery
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Project planning, coordination, and execution skills
- Vendor and stakeholder management
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related discipline)
- 5–10 years of experience in MEP project execution, preferably in commercial, industrial, or system integration projects
