Job Title: MEP Estimation Engineer

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: Minimum 1–3 years

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Working Days: 6 Days (2nd & 4th Saturday Off)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MEP Estimation Engineer to join our team. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering drawings, cost analysis, and vendor coordination, and will play a key role in supporting the bidding and project planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for various projects.
• Analyse project specifications, blueprints, and proposals to determine the scope of work and required materials.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes for materials and services.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of costs and unit rates.
• Collaborate with the project management and engineering teams throughout the bidding process.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting).
• Proficiency in estimation tools and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good understanding of BOQ preparation and tendering processes.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with vendors and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Team collaboration and problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in MEP estimation or related field.
• Hands-on experience with estimation software and MS Excel.
• Exposure to commercial, residential, or industrial project estimation is preferred.
