Job Summary: We are seeking an MEP BIM Modeler with 2+ years of experience to develop, coordinate, and deliver high-quality mechanical and electrical BIM models for international building projects, ensuring compliance with global standards and seamless cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) up to LOD 400/500, and advanced electrical BIM models, using Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Create and update BIM manuals, project standards, and parametric families (Revit families and templates)
- Perform BIM clash detection, issue tracking, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for resolved design solutions
- Generate precise electrical drawings, quantity take-offs, schedules, and construction/shop drawings from BIM models
- Review project documents, raise and monitor RFIs, maintain version control, and conduct quality checks for documentation accuracy
- Resolve project-level BIM issues and collaborate with stakeholders across architectural, structural, and MEP teams
- Support cloud-based model sharing, issue tracking, and version management via BIM360/ACC
- Mentor junior modelers, ensure quality outputs, and contribute to BIM process improvements and standardization
Must-Have Skills
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for mechanical and electrical BIM modeling
- Hands-on experience with BIM clash coordination and federated model management
- Knowledge of MEP systems, international codes (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NFPA, IPC), and BIM documentation standards
- In-depth understanding of electrical systems and ability to develop/enforce project BIM standards and manuals
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills
- Experience with BIM 360/ACC; familiarity with automation (Dynamo scripting) is a plus
