Company Description: Wellness Coach is a global wellness platform that inspires and engages workforces through personalized wellness offerings. We offer employee challenges, personal and leadership coaching, rewards & recognition, Next-Gen EAP, and weight management to support mental and physical health. Our high-impact solutions integrate with MS Teams, Slack, and Zoom to enhance engagement, accessibility, and productivity, fostering a healthier workforce.
About the Role: We are building a network of qualified Mental Health Counselors and Therapists to deliver individual, couples, and corporate wellness/EAP counseling sessions to clients across India, entirely through our telehealth platform. This is a contract-based, professional-fee engagement (not employment) — ideal for licensed or credentialed clinicians seeking flexible, session-based work alongside an existing practice, with no fixed salary or guaranteed session volume.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, couples, or group counseling sessions via video telehealth on the Wellness Coach platform.
- Complete intake assessments, treatment/session plans, and structured session documentation in the platform's clinical record system.
- Identify red-flag presentations (risk of harm, psychiatric emergency, or conditions outside scope) and route them per the organization's clinical escalation protocol.
- Coordinate with the Clinical team on Amber/Red-tier cases requiring higher-level review or referral.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality and comply with the platform's data-privacy and information-security policies.
- Operate within your credential's defined scope of practice; refer out cases requiring psychiatric, medical, or specialist care.
- Participate in periodic case consultation or supervision sessions as required for your credential track.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Applied Psychology from a UGC-recognized university; M.Phil in Clinical Psychology also considered.
- RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration as a Clinical Psychologist is required where applicable to the role; for non-RCI counseling tracks, active affiliation with IACP or an equivalent accredited professional body is required.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification clinical or counseling experience; more preferred for complex caseloads.
- Working knowledge of at least one evidence-based modality (CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, or similar).
- Comfortable delivering care via telehealth and using digital clinical documentation tools.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in one or more regional Indian languages strongly preferred
