Conversly is seeking a motivated mental health counselling intern eager to deepen their practical skills and contribute actively to our client support services. This internship offers a structured learning environment where you will apply theoretical knowledge, engage in supervised client-related tasks, and develop essential clinical competencies. You will work closely with our experienced team, gaining valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of a mental health practice. While primarily remote, a commitment to in-office collaboration on specific days is integral to this role.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Conduct initial client screenings and intake assessments under direct supervision.
- Assist in the development and facilitation of psychoeducational workshops or group sessions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and case notes in compliance with ethical standards.
- participate in case conceptualization and treatment planning discussions with supervisors.
- Contribute to the creation of therapeutic resources and informational materials for clients.
- Shadow and co-facilitate counselling sessions with experienced therapists (where ethically permissible and under strict supervision).
