Full-time / Exempt / Pay based on experience
In this role, the Assistant Director of Nursing will support the Director of Nursing in providing 24/7 clinical oversight, lead and mentor the nursing team, and ensure regulatory compliance while upholding the highest standards of resident care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of state-approved school of nursing required.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or compact state required.
- Current CPR/AED certification required.
- Nursing experience in a long-term care or senior care setting required.
- Previous experience of supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Experience with QAPI, wound care management and infection control required.
- Strong leadership, team development skills required.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills required.
- Ability to conduct audits, provide feedback and implement process improvements required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills required.
