Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mendix Developer (3–5 years) with Mendix Advanced Certification to design, develop, and maintain scalable low-code applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in UI customization, along with hands-on experience in delivering high-performance solutions using the Mendix platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Mendix applications following best practices and leveraging reusable components
- Customize and enhance UI/UX using Atlas UI, pluggable widgets, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a strong focus on usability and performance
- Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and backend developers
Required Skills & Experience
- Mendix Advanced Certification (Mandatory)
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Mendix development
- Strong experience in UI customization and front-end development within Mendix
- Proficiency in:
- Mendix Studio Pro
- Atlas UI Framework
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Kafka Integration
- Snowflake
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React is an added advantage)
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integrations
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with microflows, nanoflows, and domain modeling
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Mendix Cloud preferred)
- Experience in performance tuning and application monitoring
- Understanding of security best practices in Mendix
