Men in Blazers is the No. 1 Soccer Podcast Network in the U.S. With a wide reach and a diverse, vocal fan base, we engage with teams, players, celebrity fans, and brands we love, to share our passion for soccer across the nation. Using humor, emotion, intelligence, and to-the-minute pop cultural aptitude, we provide fans with unique content that breaks down the biggest stories in the game in ways that are authentic, meaningful, and compulsively entertaining.

We are searching for a Video Editor who can both name Nottingham Forrest’s right back and set up Multicam editing sequences. Working on our technical production team, this person will play a vital role in collecting and organizing all technical aspects of production.

Location: United States, Remote

What You’ll Do

  • Own the complete editing process for interviews & feature videos for digital, social, streaming and broadcast distribution
  • Create compelling daily and weekly promotional elements for multiple programs, including audio and visual media
  • Organize, and maintain, video archives
  • Collaborate with Producers to research, pitch, produce, shoot, and edit video and audio series’
  • Deliver high quality work at every production stage, from concept and storyboarding through post production and delivery
  • Actively engage in scripting process to streamline production workflow and optimize viewer engagement
  • Develop set plays to better engage audiences, grow supporter communities, and increase the Men in Blazers brand awareness

What You Need

  • Ability to collaborate and work in a quick turn-around, sport newsroom environment
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Suite, ideally Adobe Creative Cloud, Audition, Premiere and Photoshop
  • Great understanding of pre & post production best practices
  • Experience owning the video editing process for broadcast and streaming distribution
  • Availability on nights and weekends for live match coverage
  • High level of communication skills
  • Fluent understanding of video sharing platforms (i.e. YouTube), and what makes “great content”
  • Willingness to move off the ball to assist other team members
  • A deep understanding and passion about the game of Football
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Empathy - Passion - Courage - love of Football
